88 Dragon's original graphics background was in the publishing business. From trade newspapers and glossy magazines to calendars and directories... we've done it all. Do you have a publishing job you'd like to undertake... but don't know where to start? Let us advise you and guide you from our 18+ years in the business. We know the ropes, the rules, and most importantly... the best printers in the United States!!! We've done everything from selling advertising space in magazines, to redesigning magazine and directory layouts, to editorial coordination, full-service pre and post production services and even owned and marketed our own trade publication for 5 years. If photography is for our soul, then publishing is certainly our passion!

Publishing Projects
IALHA Handbook:(owned by: International Andalusian & Lusitano Horse Association)The studio was responsible for both selling ad space, designing directory layout, typesetting membership listing and breed specific registration requirements, bring in the job far under budget and creating a sizable profit, flight-checking for pre-press submission, press checks during printing, etc. Worked this job for over 8 years. |

ANDALUSIAN magazine(owned by: International Andalusian & Lusitano Horse Association)The studio was responsible for producing this magazine for a number of years... selling ads, designing publication layout, generating editorial, budgeting the job and bringing it under budget, press checks and both pre and post production logistics. |

THE CLASSICAL HORSE - Planner(owned by: Lightfoot Enterprises)The studio owned and produced this project for two years... until we moved our office to Pennsylvania. The format was a weekly spread complimented by a different advertiser each week. Wire-O binding, solid color. Average page count around 116 pages. |

THE CLASSICAL HORSE - magazine(owned by Lightfoot Enterprises)Quarterly publication featuring articles on the Andalusian Horse in the American sport horse world (dressage, hunting, eventing, combined driving, etc). Produced for five years. Closed the doors when we moved the studio to Pennsylvania due to a conflict of interest with a new client. |
